Ready to Build a Website That Works for Your Community?

Rome, GA

The Challenge: The Rome Floyd Development Authority (RFDA) needed a modern, effective way to communicate the benefits of locating in Rome and Floyd County. The existing website was outdated, difficult to navigate, and lacked engaging, data-driven content. RFDA sought a solution that would attract businesses by showcasing the region’s strategic advantages—such as its location, workforce, and infrastructure—while providing valuable, accessible data for potential investors.

Our Concept: Insyteful partnered with RFDA to develop a visually appealing, user-friendly website that combined attractive design with rich, interactive data. The key elements of the new site included:

  1. Modern Design: A fresh, professional look with high-quality images, videos, and interactive elements to showcase the county’s strengths.
  2. Data-Driven Content: Interactive charts, infographics, and downloadable resources that highlighted key metrics such as labor force statistics and business incentives.
  3. Easy Navigation: Streamlined structure to ensure users could quickly find information on economic advantages, available properties, and incentives.

The Result: The new website has had a measurable impact:

  1. Improved Perception: The professional design and clear, accessible data helped position RFDA as a modern, proactive organization.
  2. Attracted New Business: The site became a key tool in attracting potential investors by clearly presenting the benefits of doing business in the area.

The website has become a valuable, ongoing resource for attracting investment, supporting businesses, and promoting Rome Floyd County as an ideal location for economic growth.

Gonzales, TX

The Challenge: The Gonzales, TX EDC website did not reflect the organization’s new branding, expanded target sectors, and growing business/industry presence in the community’s prime Guadelupe Valley location. The existing site would also benefit from a fresh UX/UI experience, along with expanded data delivery supporting the community’s efforts. With a lean operations staff, the site also needed to offer as much automation as possible, to avoid overloading the workday requirements.

Our Concept: Working with Director Susan Sankey, we redesigned the website from the ground up, with attention paid to brand consistency and improved and simplified viewer experience. To assist Susan’s lean operation, we included data automations and one-click delivery, along with an intuitive WordPress Elementor content management system.

The Result: The new website delivers a broad range of data, quality of life, and assets unique to Gonzales. The UX/UI offers an improved user experience optimized for the organization’s core audiences. Site design follows the new brand standards so the look and feel is consistent across multiple platforms. And the combination of proprietary automations and intuitive CMS delivers Gonzales the ability to deliver up to date data and content without requiring additional hours or manpower to maintain the site.

Macon County, AL

The Challenge: Macon County EDA needed a refreshed narrative that reflected the county’s remarkable success and growth over a decade of economic investment. Where the original website tone was aspirational, the EDA needed an emphasis on proven location and its growing reputation as an ideal choice for companies within several industry sectors.

Our Concept: Working with long-time colleague, EDA Director Joe Turnham, we crafted a message tone and narrative balancing Macon County’s success story with its important history. Branding Macon County as “The New Diamond of the I85 Corridor,” the website blends imagery and subtle motion with easy to navigate demographic data presentations and sector analysis. The website invites the site viewer – “We’ve been making history for 200 years. Join us and make some history of your own.”

The Result: The website features the unique story of Macon County with the information that the EDA’s core audiences require. By showcasing the county’s success and assets, the new website reflects Macon County’s earned place as a top contender for US business location and expansion.

ADA Compliance

Upon our delivery, the site will be ADA Level AA fully compliant. In our efforts to assist those in need, we include ADA compliance at no additional charge. ADA compliance is required for nearly all public entities including Economic Development and Municipalities, etc. Beyond any regulatory issue, accommodating those who are challenged with vision or hearing is inclusive vs alienating your potential or current clients. Pages containing attached files that are not accessibility compliant can be tagged for review and compliance prelaunch.

Portals

The Site can also include integration of portals such as:

  • Password Protected portal (for internal documents, board calendars, etc.)
  • Any additional portals that may be created after the launch of the website

Digital/Social Media Integration

The website can integrate your various social media platforms into the site. Any content posted to the various platforms will appear on the site as well.

Content Management System

The site will include a user content management system (CMS) to allow designated personnel to administer various portions and features of the site, if desired. We will employ WordPress, an internationally accepted website platform. We have over a decade of experience with WordPress writing proprietary modules for this CMS platform. As a web developer we firmly believe in the use of open-source CMS rather than proprietary CMS. Nineteen years of experience has shown us that open source offers our clients more transparency, portability, access, site security and functionality improvements over time, where most proprietary CMS systems serve to restrict or prohibit the client’s ability to make longer term changes without starting over.

We build our relationships through hard work and trust, not restrictions.

Third Party Functionality Integration

The site will be enabled to accept embedded content such as YouTube or Vimeo video content, as well as other third party functions and links such as event calendars.

Multi-Browser Support

The website will function effectively in all major browser systems, including Chrome version 19+, Firefox version 12+, and Safari version 5+.

Responsive Site Design

In today’s online world, the site will be viewed on a number of platforms other than a desktop computer, including tablets, iPhones, Android devices and other mobile devices. We will use “responsive” site design, which ensures the optimal usability of the site on different size and types of devices.

Search Engine Optimization

Upon launch the site will fully integrate SEO best practices, and will allow quick access and revision of SEO metadata and live content throughout the site via the CMS as well as consistent web-crawler access throughout the site. If you select an ongoing maintenance package, continued SEO maintenance and revision is a key part of our ongoing post-launch maintenance as well.

Site Functionality

The site will include the functions that enable the viewer to navigate the site, find and access the information they need, and communicate with your organization. The site will offer intuitive navigation and links that make the viewer web experience simple and constructive, with a focus on allowing one-click access to frequently used items/documents on the site. The entire site will be searchable, and available in multi-lingual display if desired.
